Each week when I begin my workshops, I play a different song to emphasize the importance of music in our lives. Just as what we think, say, and do creates the experience of our lives, so too do the conscious choices that we make with music. So, just as you consciously choose the words you use, the stories you tell yourself, the visions you hold, the way you respond to life as it unfolds, I encourage you to begin to choose to support yourself with music for your life.Music that inspires you. Music that makes you feel strong, competent, capable, invincible. Music that recreates feelings of loving and being loved.
Music that makes your spirit soar with delight and joy. Music that will lift you up to your highest potential for passion, freedom, success, and prosperity. Here are some of the songs that I like to share with my groups."Gonna Fly Now", more commonly known as the Rocky Theme from the series of Rocky movies, may fill you with strength, power, and a feeling of victory.
Or perhaps it brings to mind, as the story goes, that Sylvester Stallone was down to about $50 in his pocket in New York City when he wrote the screenplay for the original movie in 3 days and then held to his vision by refusing to sell the rights until he could play the title role. The theme song for the movie Titanic, "My Heart Will Go On", may remind you of the story of a woman who chose to break free from a life of oppression to live the life of her dreams with passion. The song might also remind you that this was the most expensive movie ever made at $200 million and still holds the record as the #1 lifetime grossing film. The theme song from the Harry Potter movies may inspire you to feel playful, reminding you of the magic and miracles of life and the extraordinary potential we all have to step into our power. On the other hand, you might also be subtly reminded of the author, J.
K. Rowling, who created the passion of her life while she was on social welfare and then was catapulted to fame and fortune almost instantly. Said to be richer than the Queen, her net worth has been estimated to be over $1 billion.
Or maybe your heart jumps for joy with the theme song from the movie Flashdance, "What A Feeling", sung by Irene Cara. You might remember the powerful scene as a welder moved into her dream of becoming a professional dancer. As you listen to the song, you might also be inspired by the words: "I can have it all. I can really have it all.
What a feeling! I can have it all. Please believe it. Take your passion and make it happen!".On the path of being a dynamic, powerful creator you might choose to tap into "I Believe I Can Fly" by R. Kelly with the words: "There are miracles in life I must achieve, but first I know it starts inside of me.
If I can see it, then I can be it. If I just believe it, there's nothing to it. Oh, cause I believe in me. If I can see it, then I can do it.
I believe I can fly. I believe I can touch the sky. I think about it every night and day, spread my wings and fly away. I believe I can soar.
I see me runnin' through that open door. I believe I can fly!".Music is made for manifesting! As you hear the beginning notes of a favorite song, reminding you of a particular time in your life when you were full of love, hope, strength, accomplishment, or freedom, your mind automatically recreates a vision of that time, your body responds on a cellular level, and your emotions transform your experience in the moment. Instantaneous. Automatic.
Effortless. For fun and for free.Choose to surround yourself with music that will inspire you to live the life of your dreams, rich in every way!.
YOU deserve it!.
