People who are enterprising are those who have creativity and vision. An enterprising person is someone who comes across a pile of scrap metal and sees the making of a wonderful sculpture. An enterprising person is someone who drives through an old decrepit part of town and sees a new housing development. And enterprising person is someone who sees opportunity in all areas of life.Self-enterprising people keep their eyes open and their minds active. They are skilled, confident, and creative which enables them to seize opportunities that present themselves regardless of the economy.
They do their homework and research before they take action. They are people who don't wait for opportunities to come to them, they go after the opportunities. Self-enterprise means that you are always actively working toward your goal. The building block for becoming a self-enterprising person is being able to understand your own self worth. You have to understand how valuable you are.
If you don't feel good about yourself, then you won't feel good about your life. If you don't feel good about your life, then you won't be very interested in looking for opportunities.Self-enterprising doesn't just relate to the ability to make money. Being self-enterprising also means feeling good about yourself and having enough self-worth to want to seek advantages and opportunities that will make a difference in the future.
To be a self enterprising person you have to have the courage to be creative. You have to be able to see things differently and go against the crowd. You have to have the courage to take a different approach to things and even stand alone if you have to.Once you have developed the courage to be creative, then you have to be creative. Creativity is being able to see what's out there in the world and shape it to your advantage.
It is being able to look at the world a little differently and take a different approach from other people. To become a self-enterprising person you must be able to think on paper. Self-enterprising people are those who draw a road map, a blue print, a business plan, or financial projections on how to reach their goals. When you put your plans on paper, you can analyze your path, solve your problems, and isolate what works and what doesn't.
Enterprising people are constantly thinking and brainstorming with other people. They keep their brain out of any ruts by constantly imagining outlandish solutions and consider new ideas without considering their practicality. This is a very important characteristic of self-enterprising people. You have to be able to consider ideas without considering how practical they are. If you allow yourself to think without confinement, you may come across a solution that seems totally ridiculous, but it will also allow you to open up the process, which will eventually lead to really good solutions as well.
To become self-enterprising you have to commit yourself to lifelong learning. With the Internet, information has never been more accessible than it is today. You can go on-line and access stock quotes, worldwide newspapers, and to any kind of research you need. You can use bulletin boards and join on-line communities to interact with people from all over the world and develop an entirely new network.
By taking advantage of the Internet, you can lean more than you could otherwise learn. Meet people that you'd otherwise never meet. You can find information that your library may not have.
You can share information and transfer files that you'd otherwise never be able to share.Being a self-enterprising person means you have to constantly feed your mind and sharpen your interests in two major subjects: life and people. Learn how you can better interact with others.
Learn more on how to get the most from life. Learn all that you can so you can become all that you're capable of becoming.Learning is the beginning of a life worth living.
It's the beginning of wealth, happiness, and health. Learning is the beginning of spirituality and faith. Learning is where the process of creating your own personal miracles begins. Most of all, learning is the beginning of self-enterprise.In the end, it's how you feel about yourself that provides you with the increased courage and creativity for self-enterprise.
It's how your feel about yourself that provides the greatest reward from moving toward your goals. It not what you get or what you accumulate that will make you valuable. Rather, it's what you become that makes you valuable.Success isn't in the having. Success is in the doing.
It's the process of doing that brings value. It's doing something each day to move you closer to reaching your goals that converts ideas into actuality. Self-enterprise is about the activity and actions you take in moving toward your goals, because without the actions and activity you'll miss the opportunities.Copyright©2006 by Joe Love and JLM & Associates, Inc.
